❤️ Pray The Rosary

I just had a conversation with one of my longest friends the other day over the Rosary - I told him that it has been my experience that most people who hold a strong/negative opinions over the Rosary, are undereducated on what The Rosary really is and does. The first common theme has been the notion that this prayer is vain repetition - The angels cry Holy Holy Holy, and this prayer is a deep meditation, each decade our intention hearts and souls rest on different mysteries of Jesus' mission and life here on earth. By the time you've reach the end of the decade, you wish you had more time to rest in His life with Him, but of course the following mystery grabs your heart the same. I often weep over these mediations, particularly when meditating on the Sorrowful mysteries - if you read them in the chart below you'll understand why. He is so Good and we deserved nothing.

There is a young Catholic convert on tik tok, and I am blanking on his name (I will find it) but he said something that has stuck with me so intensely, it belongs here. He noted - "Protestants think Catholics worship Mary because Protestants worship Jesus the way that Catholics venerate Mary".

You can see why that's stuck with me. 

To the protestant who thinks saying a Hail Mary has anything to do with praying to the deceased - I just say... where is your faith?! When we die here, on earth, we will one day be fully alive in Christ. Not metaphorically alive in Christ but ALIVE! Mary is alive in Christ, the Saints are alive in Christ.

When you are grounded in BIG faith, you have no less trouble requesting pray from a friend on earth as you do in heaven... think about it!
